Three-time course winner LORD LARIAT (1) ran an excellent fourth in Grade Three company in reappearance. Fitter second time up and likely to go close raised in distance. FAKIERA (9) missed the placings when fifth at Punchestown over the last time out, he is sure to come on for the run and could flourish with a stiffer test of stamina for a top trainer. THE DABBLER (12) holds honest claims with consistent chase form this campaign. Each-way. REGINA DRACONES (10) fell early in the Troytown last weekend and is quickly turned out again here. A tough contest to call over an extreme distance.

13:25 Bar One Racing Royal Bond Novice Hurdle (Grade 1) 11 Runners, Class 1, 2m

A fascinating Grade One novice hurdle featuring a host of progressive individuals including CHAMP KIELY (1). Impressed in winning both hurdle races by a combined 25.5L and could take this class rise in his stride for a top trainer. MARINE NATIONALE (4) rates a major threat after jumping well to win in effortless fashion on hurdle bow at Punchestown and should give the former a tough test. IRISH POINT (3) and PATH D’OROUX (5) have also shown winning form in maiden hurdles this term. Unexposed types who cannot be dismissed lightly. This should be run at breakneck speed over the 2m and those that jump best will likely feature in a race where experience should be an advantage.
