UFC Vancouver Preview

The UFC returns to Canada as middleweights Reinier de Ridder and Brendan Allen headline an exciting card at the Rogers Arena in Vancouver. Elsewhere, the ever-entertaining Kevin Holland will fight in his fifth bout of the calendar year. Explosive bantamweight Marlon Vera will make his return to the octagon after over a year away.

The undercard features gritty Englishman Davey Grant and an exciting flyweight bout between HyungSyung Park and Bruno Silva. Let’s take a look at our best UFC Fight Night Vancouver betting tips and predictions!

Reinier de Ridder vs Brendan Allen Predictions – 01:40 am

Fight Prediction: de Ridder via KO/TKO or Sub

One of our best MMA predictions this week is for Reinier de Ridder to continue his fine form by defeating Brendan Allen in Vancouver. The Dutch Knight is four for four in the UFC with three finishes and, most recently, saw out a decision win over former middleweight champion Robbie Whittaker.

RdR looks on course for a title fight in the future, and a win here should all but confirm a faceoff with Khamzat Chimaev. However, Brendan Allen is a formidable opponent who should not be underestimated. The American fighter bounced back from a two-fight slide in July to beat former challenger Marvin Vettori. He brings a wealth of experience, fighting 17 times in the UFC since signing in 2019.

Both of these men are submission specialists. RdR boasts 13 sub victories in 23 fights, and Allen 14 in 32. However, the American struggles when he can’t take his opponent to the ground. The Dutch Knight will be one of those. Even if Allen can take him to the mat, De Ridder is a dangerous submission grappler who will give him problems. RdR has also made strides in his striking. He should beat Allen, whether standing up or grappling, and we don’t see this fight going for all five rounds. De Ridder can finish this fight within three.

Reinier de Ridder vs Brendan Allen Odds

Bet Reinier de Ridder Odds Brendan Allen Odds
Fight Winner 8/17 6/4
Win By Decision 10/3 7/1
Win By Submission 7/2 6/1
Win By KO, TKO or DQ 2/1 6/1

Reinier de Ridder vs Brendan Allen Betting Tips

Our best angle for this fight is a bet on de Ridder to get the finish. The Dutchman to win by KO/TKO or Submission is still available at 20/21. That seems overpriced considering his record and the fact that Allen took the fight on relatively short notice. When making UFC bets, back the Dutch fighter to finish this fight within the distance and make it four finishes in five UFC fights.

Kevin Holland vs Mike Malott Predictions – 01:20 am

Fight prediction: Malott via submission

Mike Malott will get the victory here. Predicting Kevin Holland’s fights should be considered an extreme sport in and of itself. Trailblazer is one of the most unpredictable fighters in the UFC. He is capable of brilliance one night and inconsistency the next.

His flashy striking and willingness to brawl make him entertaining, but his lack of discipline and questionable fight IQ often cost him against composed opponents. His recent loss to Daniel Rodriguez showcased that same inconsistency, where he struggled to deal with pressure and failed to adjust mid-fight despite being an overwhelming favourite.

Mike Malott, on the other hand, has quietly built momentum. The Canadian has finished all but one of his career wins inside the first two rounds and will have the full support of the Vancouver crowd behind him. Malott’s composed striking, tight boxing, and underrated grappling make him a dangerous matchup for Holland, especially if Holland starts slow or allows himself to get drawn into wild exchanges.

Malott is the more focused and technical fighter at this stage of their careers. Expect him to press forward, close the distance, and look to hurt Holland early with power shots. If Holland can’t keep the fight long, Malott should find the opening he needs to end it within the distance.

Kevin Holland vs Mike Malott Odds

Bet Kevin Holland Odds Mike Mallot Odds
Fight Winner 17/20 5/6
Win By Decision 4/1 4/1
Win By Submission 5/1 7/2
Win By KO, TKO or DQ 10/3 9/2

Kevin Holland vs Mike Malott Betting Tips

This is such a tough fight to predict because you truly never know what version of Kevin Holland you’re going to get. For that reason, we are looking at the over/under betting. Mike Malott has only seen the third round in three of his 15 fights. Only two of Holland’s last five have got there. We like a bet on under 2.5 rounds here, worth 3/5.

Aiemann Zahabi vs Marlon Vera Predictions – 01:00 am

Fight prediction: Vera via decision

Marlon Vera enters as the underdog, but we are backing him to overcome those odds and defeat Zahabi. Aiemann Zahabi has been on a tear since his post-COVID return. The Canadian is on a six-fight winning streak, last beating Jose Aldo, one of the best UFC fighters of all time

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=h6bvao0zIKg&pp=ygULbWFybG9tIHZlcmHSBwkJ_AkBhyohjO8%3D

However, that win came controversially, and was Aldo’s retirement fight. This will be a tougher bout against a much younger man. Marlon ‘Chito’ Vera’s recent record may look bad on paper, losing three of his last four, but the level of competition he has faced is night and day compared to Zahabi’s. He lost to two former world champions in Sean O’Malley and Deivison Figueiredo, as well as perennial challenger Cory Sandhagen. All defeats came via decision.

He’s taken a much-needed break and returns to the octagon after 14 months away. The damage looked to be piling up, but a rejuvenated Chito should be back to his best. That break should help Chito come out of the blocks faster than usual. Expect him to use his reach advantage and patented kicks to keep the pressure on Zahabi. The Ecuadorian fighter can bounce back with a victory in Vancouver.

Bet Aiemann Zahabi Odds Marlon Vera Odds
Fight Winner 4/6 21/20
Win By Decision 1/1 2/1
Win By Submission 18/1 12/1
Win By KO, TKO or DQ 17/2 11/2

Aiemann Zahabi vs Marlon Vera Betting Tips

A straight bet on Vera to win is one of our best UFC Vancouver predictions. The Ecuadorian opened as a plus-money underdog. We expect this fight to be a pick’em once the bell rings. Take him as close to even money as you can with our online sportsbook before his value comes in on Saturday night.

Manon Fiorot vs Jasmine Jasudavicius Predictions – 00:40 am

Fight prediction: Fiorot via decision

This fight appears to be a title eliminator in everything but name, and we predict Manon Fiorot will get a chance at revenge by defeating Jasmine Jasudavicius. The French fighter lost a tight decision to flyweight champion Valentina Shevchenko in May and would be first in line for another shot with a victory here. However, Jasmine Jasudavicius is breathing down her neck. The Canadian has come on leaps and bounds over the last 18 months, proving so by submitting former strawweight champ Jessica Andrade in her last fight.

The difficulty for Jasudavicius here will be taking Fiorot down. She fights a wrestling-heavy style, and Fiorot’s takedown defence is excellent. That forces them to stand up, where Fiorot has a huge advantage when striking. The Frenchwoman has finishing power, strong grappling and is nasty in the clinch. She is just as comfortable fighting in the pocket as she is from a distance. Jasudavicius is talented, but this may be a step too far for her.

Manon Fiorot vs Jasmine Jasudavicius Odds

Bet Manon Fiorot Odds Jasmine Jasudavicius Odds
Fight Winner 2/5 7/4
Win By Decision 7/10 11/4
Win By Submission 22/1 9/1
Win By KO, TKO or DQ 5/1 14/1

Manon Fiorot vs Jasmine Jasudavicius Betting Tips

Our best angle here is a bet on Fiorot to win via decision, worth 7/10. The French striker is one of the most technical and efficient fighters in the women’s flyweight division, relying on crisp movement, sharp counters, and excellent distance control. While she possesses the power to hurt opponents, Fiorot tends to fight smart rather than recklessly. Jasudavicius has never been finished, and Fiorot has gone the distance in all of her previous six fights. Back the Beast to win via decision.

Charles Jourdain vs Davey Grant Predictions – 11:00 pm

Fight prediction: Grant via decision

This matchup pits two seasoned veterans with very different approaches to fighting. Charles Jourdain has evolved considerably in recent years, moving away from the wild, highlight-reel striking style that once defined him. The Canadian used to rely on explosive kicks, spinning attacks, and all-action exchanges to overwhelm opponents.

However, after several close decision losses, he’s shifted to a more conservative, grappling-heavy approach. Jourdain now looks to mix in clinch control and takedowns to secure rounds rather than chase knockouts. This is a change that has improved his consistency but reduced his finishing threat.

Davey Grant, by contrast, is as gritty and aggressive as ever. The Englishman keeps his head down, walks forward, and throws with constant intent. He thrives in chaos, staying busy and applying relentless pressure. Grant’s striking volume and willingness to take one to give one often break opponents’ rhythm, and against a Jourdain who has become more methodical, that pace could prove decisive. Expect Grant to push forward from the opening bell, forcing Jourdain to fight off his back foot and defend rather than dictate. If Jourdain can’t control him in the grappling exchanges, Grant’s work rate and forward pressure should be enough to edge the scorecards.

Charles Jourdain vs Davey Grant Odds

Bet Charles Jourdain Odds Davey Grant Odds
Fight Winner 8/15 13/10
Win By Decision 8/5 13/5
Win By Submission 7/1 14/1
Win By KO, TKO or DQ 4/1 6/1

Charles Jourdain vs Davey Grant Betting Tips

Grant is an underdog in the MMA betting markets, and we think there is value there. He has made a career by grinding out wins in the UFC, and this could be another case. Jourdain’s conservative approach in a three-round fight could leave him sleepwalking into a decision loss. A bet on Grant is worth 13/10, which is great value for a fighter who has won four of his last five.

Bruno Silva vs HyungSung Park Predictions – 10:40 pm

Fight prediction: Park via KO/TKO or Sub

One of our final UFC fight night predictions this week is for HyungSyung Park to defeat Bruno ‘Bulldog’ Silva. The Korean prospect has looked sharp since joining the UFC, combining technical striking with well-timed takedowns and a calm, measured approach inside the Octagon. Park’s ability to control distance and mix his attacks intelligently has made him one of the most composed newcomers in the flyweight division.

Bruno Silva, meanwhile, remains as dangerous as ever. The veteran is explosive, aggressive, and capable of ending fights in an instant with his powerful hooks and looping combinations. However, his style often relies on chaos and early success, and against a disciplined and patient opponent like Park, it can quickly turn into frustration. Silva’s tendency to fade in later rounds and struggle when taken off his rhythm could be his undoing here.

Bruno Silva vs HyungSung Park Odds

Bet Bruno Silva Odds HyungSung Park Odds
Fight Winner 19/10 4/11
Win By Decision 9/2 2/1
Win By Submission 12/1 11/4
Win By KO, TKO or DQ 13/2 7/2

Bruno Silva vs HyungSung Park Betting Tips

Park can probably win this fight whichever way he pleases. Nine of his 10 victories have come via finish, with five submissions and four KO/TKOs. In fact, his only fight to have ever gone to a decision was his debut in 2018. Silva has not survived the duration of his previous two fights, and age may be catching up to the Bulldog. Back Park to win via TKO/KO or submission in Vancouver at 20/21.
