Arsenal vs Manchester United: Suggested bets

Arsenal vs Manchester United Preview:

Arsenal and Manchester United are looking to find a bit more rhythm after less than convincing starts to the season.

While both sides have two wins from their first three Premier League games, it’s safe to assume that neither will be particularly pleased with how they have played so far.

The Gunners are still unbeaten but were bitterly disappointed to be held to a 2-2 draw by 10-man Fulham last time out and should be looking for a bit more defensive solidity against the Red Devils.

United will have been encouraged to have found the back of the net three times against Nottingham Forest but the fact that they had to fight from two goals down to get the win is a massive concern.

They won’t be able to get away with playing that openly against Arsenal and the likes of Bukayo Sako and Gabriel Martinelli should be champing at the bit to have a go at their struggling backline.

To make matters worse for United, Raphael Varane joined Luke Shaw on the injury list, while Mason Mount is also out and Rasmus Hojlund is reportedly still not ready to play.

The North Londoners have no fresh injury concerns and are likely to field a very-near full strength side, the biggest headache for manager Mikel Arteta is deciding who to leave out.

However, with Arsenal potentially looking to shore things up at the back there may not be as many goals as some are expecting – especially early on in the game.

The Gunners are clear favourites to win the match, and for good reason, but there is a good chance the match will start quite tight before opening up in the second half.

Manchester United’s best chance will be to strike early and force Arsenal to change their plans but that is easier said than done away from home with your new striker still unfit and half your defence in the physio room.
