Despite relentless late pressure, Edinburgh held firm, with Pierre Schoeman winning a crucial turnover penalty in the dying moments to seal the win.
Munster were also in action on that day, facing Union Bordeaux Bègles in the ERCC quarter-finals. Bordeaux delivered a clinical performance to defeat Munster 47-29.
