The 2025 World Series of Darts Finals kicks off in Amsterdam, bringing together the best of the PDC circuit. With Luke Littler, Luke Humphries, Michael van Gerwen, Gerwyn Price, and other top stars in the draw, fans can expect high-quality darts and plenty of drama from the very first leg. This tournament is one of the final major events before the World Darts Championship, making it a key opportunity for players to build momentum and stake their claim on the big stage.
The tournament format ensures action-packed matches from start to finish. Round one and the second round are both best-of-11 legs, meaning fast starts are crucial. The quarter-finals, semi-finals, and final ramp up the intensity with longer best-of-19 and best-of-21 legs. Every leg matters, and any early slip-ups could prove costly. Here are our best World Series of Darts predictions and betting tips.
World Series of Darts Finals Predictions and Preview
Predicted Winner: Luke Littler
Luke Littler enters this tournament in imperious form. The Nuke won the World Matchplay in July and has since followed up with two World Series victories. Littler won the Australian and New Zealand Darts Masters events in consecutive weeks in August. The closer we get to the World Championships, the more dangerous Littler becomes. We are three months away from his defence of that title, but the eighteen-year-old has two more majors to defend on the way, starting in Amsterdam. One of our best darts predictions is for Littler to win the World Series of Darts for the second year running.
While Littler may be top of the pile, he is far from the only ride in town. World number one Luke Humphries will be breathing down his neck. He kicked off the year with a Premier Event victory, winning the Winmau World Masters. Cool Hand followed up by winning the Premier League in May, defeating Littler in the final. They have had some excellent battles over the last two years. History tells us that the winner of any meeting between these men usually tells us who will win the tournament. The earliest point at which the World Cup teammates can meet is in the final itself. That means we could see even more fireworks in the Netherlands.
Humphries and Littler are one and two in both the Order of Merit and World Series of Darts betting, but a different man is leading the seeds heading into the tournament. Stephen Bunting topped the World Series rankings, having won the Bahrain and Nordic Masters and finishing as the runner-up in the Dutch and Polish events. Bullet has been excellent in the World Series events this season. He looks in form heading into the finals after a tough start to 2025.
Gerwyn Price has also performed exceptionally well on the World Series tour this year. The Welshman has reached at least the semi-finals in all but one event and defeated Bunting in the Poland final. He finished as the third seed for the finals, level on points with Littler. The Iceman has shown improvement from last year in Premier Events, and has arguably the most favourable run of the seeded players in the tournament.
Josh Rock has had the best season of his career so far in 2025. The 24-year-old reached back-to-back semi-finals in the UK Open and World Matchplay, only narrowly losing to Littler in the latter. Rocky is on the cusp of winning a major, and it could all come together at the World Series of Darts Finals.
World Series of Darts Finals Betting Tips
- World Series of Darts Finals Winner – Luke Littler: In barely two years, Luke Littler has achieved more than what some of the best darts players of all time did throughout their careers. Still only 18, his hunger for titles shows no signs of slowing down. Priced at 6/4 with our online sportsbook, Littler is the favourite to lift the World Series of Darts Finals trophy for the second time. Crucially, he is on the easier side of the draw, which only strengthens his chances. We’re backing The Nuke to get the job done and extend his run of victories as we head towards the World Darts Championship.
- Quarter 1 Winner – Josh Rock: Josh Rock looks primed for a deep run. The County Antrim man is at the top of the list of the best Irish darts players right now. He reached the UK Open semi-finals in March and the World Matchplay semi-finals in July, earning £80,000 from those two events alone. His biggest moment so far came in June, when he lifted the World Cup of Darts for Northern Ireland alongside Daryl Gurney. Rock is edging closer to his first major singles title. It wouldn’t be a shock to see him claim one within the next year. His quarter is competitive, but his current form makes him the man to beat. Back Josh Rock to win Quarter 1 at 2/1 for anyone betting on darts.
- Luke Humphries to reach the Final: The World Series of Darts Finals is one of just two PDC premier events where Luke Humphries has yet to make the final. Michael van Gerwen has been his stumbling block twice, beating him in the 2023 semi-finals and the 2024 quarter-finals. The draw sets up another possible meeting, but Van Gerwen is currently in the worst form of his career. This could be the perfect chance for Humphries to get past him finally. A deep run looks highly likely, and backing the world number one to reach the final at 5/2 looks a smart bet for anyone betting on the World Series of Darts Finals.
World Series of Darts Finals Round One Betting Tips
- Luke Humphries vs James Wade – Humphries -2.5 legs: Luke Humphries leads 13-7 in their all-time head-to-head and has won six of the last seven meetings. That includes a 7-1 demolition in their most recent clash. The shorter best-of-11 legs format does narrow the margin for error, but Humphries’ superior scoring power and consistency should still shine through. Over a race to six, his heavy scoring and clinical finishing give him the edge, especially if he starts fast and puts Wade under early pressure. Bet on Humphries to cover -2.5 legs if you are betting on the handicap.
- Josh Rock vs Krzysztof Ratajski – Rock match treble: Josh Rock has won nine of his 11 meetings with Krzysztof Ratajski. He is playing better than ever and should get through this first-round match without many issues. Rocky has been one of the best 180 throwers in the world over the last year and may not give Ratajski a chance to check out near the 100 mark if he starts fast. Bet on Josh Rock to win the match and finish with the most 180s and the highest checkout at 11/10.
- Stephen Bunting vs Danny Noppert – Bunting -1.5 legs: Bunting has been at his best throughout the World Series events and enters as the top seed. Bullet has had Noppert’s number in recent encounters, winning four of the last five. All of those victories came with margins of at least three legs, and three of them were in the same best-of-11 format. The top seed should have enough to see off Noppert once again with clear daylight between them. Bet on Bunting to cover a -1.5 leg handicap, worth 8/11.
